Shahindah's journey for BEL 260: D.E.B.A.T.E time! ^.^

Assalamualaikum, Salam 1 Malaysia and Salam 1 UiTM always in my heart.

Monday, 7^th January 2013.

Hello guys! Today I had very interesting lesson in class. You want to know why? Let me tell you. But, first of all, don’t get jealous of me okay. Haha.. Today’s class we had made a DEBATE. Do you feel, “Are you kidding me?! Debate in class?! What for?”. Is that question had playing in your mind? :D Yeah! We had made it! :D We were divided into 4 groups which is each group is consists of 6 peoples. Miss Zu had gave us two topics which were:

1- Is it considered cheating when your partner (girlfriend/boyfriend/husband/wife) was checking on other beautiful girls/boys/men/women on Facebook (poking, liking, etc )?

2- Is it true that men are easy to work with and more creative than women especially when it involves group works?

My group members are:

- Aiman Daniel

- Amirul Adli

- Fatin Izzati

- Nur Najwa

- Aizureen

- Nur Shahindah (Me)

From the 4 groups, 2 groups will get the topic number 1 and the other 2 groups will get the topic number 2. We’ve got topic number 2, and we’re the OPPONENT. The other group which get the same topic with us will be the GOVERNMENT. My group have to disagree about the topics and must say that WOMEN are easy to work with and more creative than MEN when it involves group works.
By our discussion, our points are:

Ø Men always take everything not seriously and take it easy.

Ø Men are always not punctual than women.

Ø Men are creative BUT they did not show their creativity on the right place and the right time.

Ø Women are more systematic and women can organize anything until the work is done.

Ø Women are fast matured.

Ø Men likes to argue but they did not like to give opinion.

Ø Men like to do last minute work.

Today I learnt about, how to improve our confident level to speak in front of others and can work as a team to discuss for what we had got. From this activity it can make us braver to speak even in English. After all groups had make the debate, Miss Zu asked us to make a choice who is the winner for the best debator and the best group. The winner are:-

Best Debator : Aizureen, Haziq Amir and Syahirah

Best Group : every group are the winner! It’s TIED! Haha.. :D
