Hello, guys! Okay today I had learnt about distinguishing
main ideas and supporting details. Miss
Zu had taught us how to find the main ideas in the paragraph. We had to read
carefully the paragraph then we have to find which the supporting details so
that we can know what it the main ideas.
If we can detect which is the supporting details or not, it make easier
to us find the main idea. BUT there are also paragraph that won’t give us the
main ideas straight forward. This is identifying the implied main idea of the paragraph. We had to read and understand what the paragraph
is focus on. Then we have to write our
own sentences for the main ideas but it must suitable from the paragraph.
Miss Zu had made activity based on the video clip. She showed us the music video and raya video clip. We had to make 4 groups and discussed among the group members about the main ideas that we got by watching the short video clip. This activity made us to think and understand carefully to find the main ideas that the person want to gives us.
There were 2 groups become the winner because we had got the same marks.
