Non-Linear to Linear Text

Hello! J How are you guys today? Hope all in good condition. J
Today’s class I had learnt about Non-Linear to Linear Text Writing.  This is one of the questions that we have to answer in paper BEL260 in the examination.

Tips on How To Do Task :

• spend 5 minutes reading the graphs/charts etc
• make sure you understand axes
• make sure you follow lines on graph
• focus on the key information
• if two graphs - compare
• think about the time period - tenses
• vary your vocabulary
• organize information clearly
• write neatly

NON-LINEAR WRITING’S FORMULA:

TITLE

1)      OV (over view) + CI (controlling idea)

2-3) KFs (Key Features)

4) P(i) proposal + P(ii) prediction

Do you still remember what is the non-linear text? No? It’s okay, don’t cry..hehe.. Let me explain to you. Non-Linear text are something liked graph (bar graph/line graph etc) and table that we have to study for what had been given to make an essay based on it.

For the first time I looked at it, I feel like, “What? Why is it so hard to make? Have to change it to linear text? But how? “. Thankfully Miss Zu had taught us how to make it and Alhamdulillah I have understand it a little bit. I have to make a few exercises to become more masters on it. Hope all my friends and  I can make it! J
